п»ї2020 NFL Pro Bowl Picks.
Quarterbacks: Josh Allen, Bills; Russell Wilson, Seahawks; Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs; Aaron Rodgers, Packers; Kyler Murray, Cardinals; Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers.
Pretty straight forward with these selections. I'm sure Lamar Jackson will be voted in, but he hasn't played well this year.
Running Backs: Dalvin Cook, Vikings; Derrick Henry, Titans; Josh Jacobs, Raiders; James Robinson, Jaguars; Aaron Jones, Packers; Alvin Kamara, Saints.
The usual suspects are hurt, which opens up an opportunity for James Robinson, who has been a big surprise this year. I'm rooting for Josh Jacobs, as I have a prop on him to win the rushing title this year. He's currently fourth.
Wide Receivers: Stefon Diggs, Bills; DeAndre Hopkins, Cardinals; Keenan Allen, Chargers; Davante Adams, Packers; D.K. Metcalf, Seahawks; Tyreek Hill, Chiefs.
It's amazing that the top two players are both new additions to their team, given that this was a wonky offseason in which building chemistry was difficult than normal. Julio Jones was the best receiver who didn't make this list.
Fullbacks: Kyle Juszczyk, 49ers; Andy Janovich, Browns; Alec Ingold, Raiders; C.J. Ham, Vikings; Patrick Ricard, Ravens.
I made five selections by accident instead of the needed six. Whoops! To be fair, there aren't too many fullbacks to choose from because the position is so scarce.
Tight Ends: Travis Kelce, Chiefs; Darren Waller, Raiders; Evan Engram, Giants; Noah Fant, Broncos, Hayden Hurst, Falcons; Dalton Schultz, Cowboys.
Tight ends have struggled this year, and it hurts not to be able to choose George Kittle, who is injured. The one question mark on this list is Dalton Schultz, but I feel as though he'd be having a huge season if Dak Prescott hadn't gotten hurt.
Offensive Tackles: Garett Bolles, Broncos; David Bakhtiari, Packers; Duane Brown, Seahawks; Rob Havenstein, Rams; Jack Conklin, Browns; Laremy Tunsil, Texans.
I never thought Garrett Bolles would be on a Pro Bowl list, but he's been incredible this year. The other five can't be surprises, as they've had terrific previous seasons.
Guard: Wyatt Teller, Browns; Shaq Mason, Patriots; Ali Marpet, Buccaneers; Zack Martin, Cowboys; Joe Thuney, Patriots; Quinton Nelson, Colts.
There are two Patriots on this list, with Joe Thuney being the lesser of the two. However, Thuney has been invaluable to the team, playing different positions in the wake of injuries.
Center: Brandon Linder, Jaguars; Corey Linsley, Packers; J.C. Tretter, Browns; Frank Ragnow, Lions; Ryan Kelly, Colts; Jason Kelce, Eagles.
Nothing of note on this list. All six centers have been outstanding this year, though the Jaguars didn't exactly miss Brandon Linder in a close game versus the Packers in Week 10.
Defensive Ends: Brian Burns, Panthers; Myles Garrett, Browns; J.J. Watt, Texans; Cameron Jordan, Saints; DeMarcus Lawrence, Cowboys; Brandon Graham, Eagles.
I was confident with the first five, as Brandon Graham was the sixth guy to make the list. Brian Burns has been incredible this year, but people don't know about that because the Panthers have been dreadful defensively.
Defensive Tackles: Akiem Hicks, Bears; Jeffery Simmons, Titans; Cameron Heyward, Steelers; Aaron Donald, Rams; Chris Jones, Chiefs; DeForest Buckner, Colts.
Akiem Hicks was definitely missed late in the Minnesota game! All six of these guys are absolute studs. I couldn't find another spot on this list for anyone else.
Inside Linebackers: Bobby Wagner, Seahawks; Eric Kendricks, Vikings; Lavonte David, Buccaneers; Fred Warner, 49ers; Darius Leonard, Colts.
Everyone is focused on Tom Brady and the receivers, but the Buccaneer linebackers have been tremendous this year. Fred Warner could be the best of the bunch.
Outside Linebackers: Myles Jack, Jaguars; K.J. Wright, Seahawks, Khalil Mack, Bears; Za'Darius Smith, Packers; T.J. Watt, Steelers; Kyle Van Noy, Dolphins.
I hate this. The NFL mixed up 4-3 outside linebackers and 3-4 edge rushers when these two positions are completely different. I did what I could on this list, but it was very difficult to compare the two positions.
Cornerbacks: Jaire Alexander, Packers; Bryce Callahan, Broncos; Darious Williams, Rams; Jason Verrett, 49ers; James Bradberry, Giants; Xavien Howard, Dolphins.
Jaire Alexander is now the best cornerback in the NFL, while Darious Williams has been a great upstart player no one is talking about. He has outplayed Jalen Ramsey.
Free Safety: Budda Baker, Cardinals; Jordan Poyer, Bills; Kareem Jackson, Broncos; Harrison Smith, Vikings; Duron Harmon, Lions; Adrian Amos, Packers.
Strong Safety: Justin Simmons, Broncos; Jesse Bates, Bengals; John Johnson, Rams; Minkah Fitzpatrick, Steelers; Marcus Maye, Jets; Bobby McCain, Dolphins.
I'm going to group these together because the NFL should group them together. With NFL positions so fluid these days, it doesn't make sense to differentiate free and strong safeties.
Special Teams: None.
I didn't vote for special-teamers because I don't think special teams should be played in the Pro Bowl. Each team should have to go for it on every fourth down, and there shouldn't be any field goals or extra points. It's not a real football game, so why even have the boring stuff?

Expert Game Picks: Raiders matchup against the Bolts on Thursday Night Football.
The Raiders host the Los Angeles Chargers at Allegiant Stadium in primetime on Thursday Night Football. This is an important game for the Silver and Black as they continue their push for the playoffs. The Raiders are coming off a Week 14 loss to the Colts and face a Chargers team on a short week who defeated the Falcons 20-17.
As a reminder Raider Nation, you can watch tonight's TNF matchup against the Chargers in the Raiders app nationwide.
Now, let's take a look at who the experts are picking:

Raiders draft class ranked among worst in NFL by Pro Football Focus.
It’s fairly obvious that the Raiders didn’t get enough out of their rookie class this season. Despite having two first-round picks and five selections in the top-100, it was a disappointing season for their 2020 class.
Henry Ruggs and Damon Arnette both dealt with injuries. Tanner Muse never played a snap and Lynn Bowden Jr. was traded before he ever got the chance to set foot on the field. In hindsight, it may be a draft the team might soon regret.
In a recent article by Pro Football Focus via ESPN, they ranked all 32 draft class by the wins above the replacement metric. Not surprisingly, the Raiders’ class ranked among the league’s worst at No. 30. Here is a snippet of what they had to say about their 2020 draft:
“All seven of the Raiders’ 2020 draft picks were selected within the first four rounds, and that group collectively ranked third-to-last in WAR generated among the 32 classes. Only one Las Vegas rookie generated positive WAR this season — wide receiver Bryan Edwards — and he barely eclipsed zero. The second of Las Vegas’ two first-round picks, cornerback Damon Arnette, had a rough rookie campaign over nine games played. He finished as the lowest-graded outside corner in coverage this season, giving up 26 catches for 405 yards on 32 targets.”
If Ruggs and Arnette can stay healthy, then this class obviously will have a chance to redeem itself. But general manager Mike Mayock has already questioned Arnette’s off-the-field work ethic and we shall see if Ruggs can develop in Year 2.
As of now, this class leaves a lot to be desired. They need multiple players from this class to improve if they want to take the next step as a franchise in 2021.
